740 GL rear passenger seat belt needed 700

Does anyone have the receiving end of a rear passenger seat belt for a 740 sedan?
Mine will not fasten. Thanks

    The seat belt latches vary according to the model year, and there are three potential styles. What year car for those who might be able to help you.

      Thanks John,

      Mine is a 1989 740GL and manufactured in June of that ylear.
      It is red and black.

      I could take a digital photo...

        The picture would help. Your car has either a rectangular slot, or a tapered slot in the seat belt latch. 1990 cars have the rectangular slot, and 1988 cars have the tapered slot. The seat belt extender in the picture has the tapered slot.
