How to determine a leaky intake gasket 200 1986

Hi All,

Can someone tell me the best way to determine if my intake manifold gasket is leaking? I have an engine miss that I can't seem to pin-point.

    I think the standard way is to take some carb cleaner and spray it around the suspected leaky spot. If the idle smoothes out, you know air is leaking where you just sprayed. When the gasket failed in our 740 turbo, it actually made a funny whistling sound and I tracked it down with a piece of vacuum hose in my ear.
