Koni's or Bilsteins with the TME sport springs? 200 1992

I'm strongly considering this mod and realize that the TME's will likely pair well to either shock and both come with a "lifetime" 100K+ warranty. Either will prove to be a sound investment in performance and style, but I'm just wondering if there's just cause to pay another $100 for the Koni's (I know they're internally adjustable and IPD touts a plusher ride at lower speeds)? Thoughts?? Pros and cons from those running either set-up? Thanks!

I have to agree. I also run the Bilsteins and love the way they improved my handeling.. I also have the turbo swaybars and the strut braces. The 244 has an under steering problem designed at the factory.. Installing swaybars, shocks and any other handeling upgrade can only improve the car. I have heard so many people complaine about the stiffer ride of the Bil HD's but I have had no such problem..I would not trade my setup for any other.. The thing handles like a go cart...I love it.............Max

Never had the Konis although I wouldn't mind trying them. But what an investment just to experiment. I can't think of a reason to spend the extra money unless you really need a softer ride at times. I'm not for sure but I think maybe you still have to remove the rear shocks to adjust them. The fronts have that nifty little adjuster as you no doubt already know.
I do have the TMEs and Bilstein HDs on my car. As far as I'm concerned they (along with a couple of other common suspension upgrades) are just what the 240 needs. My car is more stable at highway speeds, especially in crosswinds and headwinds. I used to slow down for curves. Now I can accelerate through them. Every 240 I buy that's worth saving is going to get the same treatment.
I have not had the problem that some people have reported with the rear Bilsteins. But that's what the warranty is for. I can't come up with any con's on the Bils other than some people don't like the ride. Sensitive tailbones, I guess.
