84 running problem part 2 200

This is the 2nd post/update. Thanks to the 3 folks that responded. I have replaced the distrib to no effect and the fuel pressure regulator which made a big difference. It is strange, this is the 2nd one in a week....the first time I changed it, the car ran OK for 10 miles...then it was worse than before, this time I left the reg off overnight, replaced it with one off an early 740 turbo..and it has run OK for 40 miles, it only hesitated a couple of times. I wonder if by leaving the reg off it allowed the filter to drain back...and that is the real problem...will change filter tommorw...
