where can I purchase tie rods?? 700

going to install new steering rack....without going to dealer where can I get some tie rods? NAPA? Autozone? What brand should I get? Thanks db

tie rod ENDS are usually available everywhere. 700

Try AutoZone for some lifetime guaranteed ones. They'll still be TRW or something and probably the same supplier that Volvo uses. OTOH, if you want genuine Volvo parts and are happy with the quality of genuine Volvo parts (which is generally quite good, YMMV) the dealer or an internet dealer/supplier like FCP Groton is the only source.
