I had some minor dents removed from my car with the help of "Dr. Dent". The guy did a great job but the tool he used left a small scratch on my front passenger side window. I dont't think that I can polish it out. Tell me if anyone has ever installed this door glass and how easy of a job this is. I have done this type of repair on other car's , but never on a 240 Volvo. Does anyone in the Union county New Jersey area have this glass?

Replacing window glass is really easy. It does take a while, especially if you have power windows. I've got extra glass on hand. Used to live in the "hood" where car break ins were fact of life. The glass is easy to replace, but there is a good chance you may scratch the new glass trying to install it.The glass is held to the regulator by 2 C clips.You will have to play with the window,lowering and raising it to gain access to the clips,one on the left and one on the right at the bottom of the window.It is when you take the window off the track that you have to be careful. You will have to angle the window,the side near the lock,down and try to lift it out at an angle.When you are installing the be careful you don't scratch it trying to get it back on the track.Good luck,
