Someone have an ECU pinout for my '87 240? 200 1987

I'm trying to track down a problem with my car, and I've done just about everything. Now I want to trace all of the sensors back to the ECU. However, the Haynes schematic is hard to understand, and I still haven't bought a Bentley manual yet. Please help.

Someone have an ECU pinout for my '87 240? 200 1987

I have the Volvo Wiring Diagram manual for 1987 240.

It has the same ( I think) schematic that Haynes copied, but in three colors so that it can be read. It also have pictorial diagrams of the various systems for the entire car.

I understand that manuals can be downloaded from the Volvo company site, but I don't know the details of how to do that.

Here are some things from the LH 2.2 diagram that might help.

ECU Pin #1 is green, goes to pin #8 on the ignition control module.

#2 is blue, goes to the engine temp sender.

#3 is orange, goes to pin #2 on the throttle position switch.

#4 is not shown on my pictorial.

#5 is brown-black, connects to green from #20, which changes to black at a connector and connects to the oxygen sensor.

#6 is green-yellow, goes to air mass meter pin #2

#7 is white-red, goes to air mass meter pin #3

#8 is white, goes to air mass meter pin #4

#9 is brown, goes to the fuel pump relay pin #87/1

#10 is brown-white, goes to idla air control pin #3

#11 is to, a brown-black which goes to a ground, and black which goes to a connector which looks like a test point.

#12 is Blue-white, goes to throttle position switch Pin #3.

#13 is green-white, goes to each injector and to fuel pump relay pin #87/2

#14 is yellow, goes to air mass meter pin #6

#15 is not used.

#16 is red, goes to a/c relay and thence D+/61 alternator.

#17 is blue-green, goes to fuel pump relay Pin #86/2

#18 is two red-black, one to fuel pump relay pin #85, one to ignition switch pin #15

#19 is black, goes to same connector as the one from pin #11.

#20 is green, goes to air mass meter, see also pin #5

#21 is yellow-black, goes to fuel pump relay pin #86/1.

#22 is P, (whatever that is) goes to the test point near the igniiton cil.

#23 is green-red, goes to idle air control pin #5.

#24 is not shown on my diagram.

#25 is black, goes to a ground.

That is all I can provide. I hope it is helpful.

Good Luck,

Bob
