You know since my car is sputter/coughing I might as well change the fuel pressure regulator.I mean hell I ve already spent alot of money. A fifty dollar fpr is not going to hurt. How do I check for a faulty fpr? I know where it is located in my wagon.( I think it is located right behind or beside the timing belt.)Correct me if I am wrong. The question is how hard is it to remove the fpr? There is a connection in the front of the fpr but what about the hoses? In my car the hoses have little clamps on it but there are facing towards the firewall. Is it easier to get to from the under the car or on top? In the next few days I will be switching AMM with my girlfriend's car to seeif mine is bad.I will also be checking my wiring harness for any shorts so Imight as well check the fuel pressure regulator too. Any other things I should be paying attentionto?
Thanks everyone for you help.
