conversion to disc brakes 444-544 1960

I am looking to change to front disc brakes and know it can be done with 120 series parts. Does it matter what year car to use the parts from?

    I did not go to Mr. McDonald's link, but I believe the 1966 PV 544 had front disc brakes. Very few of those cars made it to the US.
