Fenders/Body Panels Aftermarket Sources 120-130 1967

Hello-

I'm sure there's a source out there for new fenders/body panels for 122's. Can't find them on the internet. Veng's Int'nl has few parts, no fenders or nose pieces. Does anyone have a good source of quality new fender/body parts out there? Any sources for quality new body seals? Any sources for complete restoration parts for the older Volvo's?

Thanks-

Paul

re: Paul Malloy's query on body parts for Volvo 122

I have available for sale a left front, right front fender and the nose piece for a Volvo 122. They were purchased from a dealer in Toronto, Ontario, several years ago with the intent to restore a 1969 Volvo 122S: these are brand new body parts. Please contact me at the above e-mail address.

    Paul,

Try Rolling Steel. 1-888-765-5460. In conversations with them i was told they have many sources and can get items not in their catalog. Just ask.

Look in Rolling Mag classifieds, IPD and brickboard classifieds,

and Hemmings' motor news. I'm sure I saw some in one of those places.

I made my own floor panels out of 16 gage black iron sheet.

There are some salvages (outside the rust belt) that have some

good cars from which you might get panels also.

If you are diligent you can find what you need, eventually.

It pays not to be in a hurry but able to act promptly when things

    become available.

Also check ebay. Some surprising Volvo stuff goes through there.

Chris Burgess offered some body parts and fiberglas fenders in

    the latest Rolling, page 23.

AFAIK there are no pattern fenders for Amazons, have't been for at least 10 years. Genuine is available.

You can get pattern rear arches including an inner arch that has recently become available and FITS unlike the Veng. There is a good wing mounting box section, galvanised. The front footwell closing panel is now available, it's proper pressing unlike the flat sheet of tin Veng used to sell. The other goodie that has become available is a narrow strip of rear wing, ie the flange that joins the wing to the lower quarter panel. The 2 door rear wing repair panel, where the wing goeas over the sill is also available.

I tend to buy mine from CVI in Sweden info@cvi-automotive.com Mikael Sallstrom

    Regards
