1994 OBD Code 900

Dear Townshend Act,

Hope you're well and stay so. The wiring harness connector for the in-differential ABS/Speedometer sensor is exposed to the elements. Where climate requires use of salt to melt snow/ice, corrosion attacks the wire terminals.

After I replaced corroded connector - by splicing it to both wires - I wrapped butyl rubber tape around the wiring harness connector, to protect it. The tape, finger-compressed, forms a solid piece of rubber. Butyl rubber does not harden with time, so should provide long-term protection.

Hope this helps.

Yours faithfully,

Spook
