Hello!

Is this Phil, Phil?, Pacific N. West?

So I am now shifting. 8*)

Even with the shifter surrounds off, I do not see a manual override on my
'93. When I took the main surround off, out fell a little piece of plastic with a recess for the ball at the end of the cable.
1st, take bogus battery back to O'Riley, and get n/c new one, still no shifting when key on. OK, fuse 7 spin in place.

Shifter shifts. Hurray!

Thanks for the comments, I now know way more about the multi-funtion shifter than I did last week. So why not start the car now that I have gas in it, its started before, but not today. Just a little grrr from the starter and that was it.Probably connection issues, found my multimeter, and I guess its back to wrenchin on a 25 yr old car, at the age of 66.
