I've not been in Pacifica since the early 1990s.

Yet resources exist so you can find a satisfactory Volvo service facility for the exceptional hourly labor rates you pay.

Does the service center correct their mistake at their expense including parts?

AAA also provides such a service yet the shops are usually AAA affiliated as with towing service.
