Brick board posts 1969

Hi, have been an avid user of this forum for some time. Wondering why numerous posts are authored by “someone claiming to be blank, December 31, 1969”. Guessing it’s from those who have not logged in, but difficult to sort through responses to find the latest post in a thread.
Would be helpful to have the actual date and time of the post.
Thanks.

Definitely on your end... But you knew that I guess, and the only help I can offer now is regarding your question about embedding images.

To include your screenshot, I right-clicked (firefox) your posted image in Brickpix to get the URL, and then enclosed it in the "img src=" tags as shown below in a bright yellow box, if your browser gets it.

Then, looking at your original attempt to post the pic,
I would guess this failed on the Brickboard side,
with some attempt to automatically resize the huge screenshot
            which tends to annoy readers....

This was the desired result, I think....

Hi Art, sorry for the large picture. Thanks for your advice on posting a pic.
Not sure what the “problem is at my end” means, but I’ll just carry on.
              Cheers.

So you're saying you thought it was a Brickboard problem?

If I were you, I'd try browsing the forum with a different browser, maybe a different device, or even from a different network. I don't know what could be removing the date and ownership information, but I am fairly certain this thread would be full of me-too's if everyone else saw the same as you. Anyone else?

FWIW, I've definitely seen that phenomenon in the (distant) past. I couldn't replicate the problem if I tried.

How about the "last visit" feature? Art, your post that I'm responding to, the header proclaims "last visit: Fri Oct 17 21:10 EST 2014".

Yes, I remember seeing an invalid date display (unix time zero is Jan. 1, 1970 minus the time zone) when the board had temporary trouble, but never an invalid user ID display.

The last seen date in '14 does indeed correlate to when Jarrod last saw my money. I've been "donating" time since then. :-)

A man and his wife are sitting in the living room and he says to her: "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state dependent on some machine. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
His wife gets up and unplugs the TV.
