Crank Holding Tool - 240 vs 940 900

Hi all,
I am going to change the timing belt on my son's '93 940 wagon. I have CTA crank holding tool 2242 for my '86 240 sedan but noticed that on the box, it says that the tool is for a 1985-93 240. Are there changes on the 940 red block that that prevents this tool from being used? I just wanted to check before I take everything apart.
