1993 Quick start with bad shift interlock 200 1993

Art, as always a big help. FYI, anytime there is a starter, primary battery cable, or ignition switch involved, a rear wheel gets giant rubber chocks in front and back. If the NSS has not changed this means the current owner might be right that the starter is dead but he claims it was working one day and not at all the next...never seen one die that way but have seen and NSS suddenly stop working.

I REALLY tried to convince the guy to just let me fix the issue for him and have him drive it for a couple more weeks to reconsider...long story short he decided to try doing it himself and got frustrated so now the car is mine for $1100 is I can have it gone by Monday.

FYI, should I come home with this it is proof that you are ALWAYS right. I swore I would never go back to a 240 as many of the longstanding issues with the platform were solved in the 7/9-series, etc. You insisted I would return to the fold someday. In the back of my mind I knew if the right 1993 240 wagon came along you might end up correct but I was also positive such a vehicle would never show up at a price I was willing to pay. I suspect I will be eating crow by 4 PM Saturday 11/18/2017.
