Maybe you can find a Japanese market nearby where you live, go there and ask them for a sampler so you can taste it. Forget the seasoning and cooking. Eat it raw, its good for you, they have been doing that for many years.
Or, you can hit the beach and find some for yourself. I ate some while I was swimming last summer out in Brighton beach, Brooklyn. It taste like gummy bear without sugar.
Off topic, we need to be healthy so that we can enjoy the red brick ride. It's all related in my opinion. :-)
