Volvo 940 1993 Tailgate Window Washer Trouble

The tailgate window washer on my 1993 Volvo 940 no longer squirts washer fluid.I have checked the rear washer pump and it is functional. I checked the washer fluid reservoir and pump connections and there were no clogs. I also disconnected the rear window squirt nozzle to confirm that it was not a clogged nozzle by running the rear washer pump with an open rear hose... no fluid came out of the hose. Presumably, there must be a clogged line between the pump reservoir and the rear squirt nozzle. What is the best way to determine if/where the line may be clogged? My plan is to take a 12 volt air pump and pump air into the line to see if I can free the line. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Any input will be sincerely appreciated.

Thanks,

OnlyVolvo

There is a check valve in the fluid line located just below your right rear taillight. Remove the interior light cover and look down for the fluid line with a flashlight. Inside the check valve, the rubber diaphragm fails. See the FAQ for more details:
