Throttle Position Sensor 200

Just to see if the Switching of the sensor works...

There are three pins on the connector of the TPS. If you look close the plastic housing is actually numbered..#3, #16 and #2

Middle Pin one is common.

To check to see if The TPS is switching correctly put one Lead of a continuity meter on the middle pin (#16)and the other Lead on the Pin down closer to the engine (#2). You should have continuity between those two pins until you just start to press the gas pedal down. then it should break.
With the Lead still on the middle pin, move the other Lead to the Pin that is farther away from the engine (#3), you should not have any continuity until you are at almost Full Throttle.
