Might I suggest a flame trap/breather box cleaning? Also, I am extremely happy with my Kingsborne wires, and they have a lifetime warranty, which I used to replace one that burned through due to a short.

I'd add in a thermostat if it hasn't been done in a few years, and checking your accessory belts for cracks and wear.
