960 sway bars in a 740? 700

I have a 1991 745 and a 1993 965 that is going to the bone yard. But not before it donates some parts to a higher cause (and another BB member). Will the bars bolt up? if not, I won't bother removing them.

thanks

960 upto '93 will work on 740, but wont make a huge difference, try a 27mm 1998 ford ranger or mazda pickup swaybar.

you said that the 1991 745 is going to the bone yard- i operate a foodbank-sara rose foodbank- i deliver food in our 745 volvo. we could use extra part for the 745 volvo-alterator-tail light -blinker light- and anything useable. sara rose foodbamk is a group of 5 people that feed 70 to 80 family a month mainly eldery and handicap. if you can donate ,it would be great- thanks- kim richardson 256-490-2674

fyi:

no, the 965 is going to the bone yard, that is why I asked if the 960 bars will fit in my 740.

sidenote: I LOVE that freakin car...! :-(

If the control arms and diagonal arms are the same (slight difference between aluminum and steel, but same design) then yes they will. Later 960s had different control arms and different sways.

AFAIK, they should bolt right up.

I'm doing the same thing on my '92 740 and the donor was a '94 960.
