Will lacquer thinner in cylinder free a seized engine? 200 1983

In teh same frame as RSTARKIE... Marvel mystery oil, diesel fuel, kerosene, home heating oil, will probably be your best bet. These all have lubricants in them and are semi thin to get into the Rings. A cleaner, thinnner is going in the wrong direction you want to penetrate a metal bond.

The Generator... yeah drop the bowl off the bottom of the Carburetor and clean the green crud out then unscrew the brass jet and clean the little hole. Youmost likely can leave the Float and Needle valve alone because under normal operation, the gas wasn't soaking in the Needle valve as it evaporated and grew fungus.
I've taken countless 4 cycle lawn mowers, generators, rotortillers, compost choppers apart for neighbors that left gas in them just to drop the bowls and clean up the lowest jet.
