Sometimes the trip odometer mechanism will not engage correctly after it has been reset. If you are lucky, this is what has happened. If so, the last zero (tenths) will usually not be lined up exactly with the others. Try pushing the reset button again a couple of times, with the car stationary. (You should NEVER attempt to reset the odo while the car is moving, as it can strip the gears) If the last digit moves into line when you do this, there is a good chance it will start working again.
