Not familiar with the 700 front end. Am I correct in assuming it is a sealed bearing as apoosed to a separate race and bearing like the 200's?
IF the bearing breaks and the inner race part is stuck to the spindle, do you have a small grinder? you can grind it thin enough to break it off the spindle. Even if you knick the spindle, The bearing are riding on the race, not spinning on the spindle..no harm done. I have done this with rear axle Pinion Bearings.
So at least you know you will be able to get the old part off
