Does anyone have pictures of a 945 with a third seat installed? My sister is interested in purchasing a 945, and I want to show her how the third seat looks.

Doubleclick on the thumbnails to see larger images. I can say that my kids and their friends *love* to ride in the back and face the traffic behind us.

Keep in mind that they are only for kids under 5 feet (152 cm) tall, and under 80 pounds (36.4 kg). The minimum weight is, I believe, 40 pounds (18.2 kg).

I have a third seat from a '87 740 installed in our '94 940. We bought it used and installed it in our 740 in 1992, and I moved it to the 940 when the 740 was wrecked. Now that the kids are all taller than me, it is redundant and for sale. Let me know if your sister gets a car without one and wants one - I haven't had much action on selling it so it will go cheap. It's black, and in a car in Ottawa. I can put pictures on a photo site, too, if you still need them - e-mail me at olivers523@rogers.com.

The volvo instructions are nice but not required if you get to help pulling one out. I've done it a few times without them.

Have a look in eBay. Go to eBay Motors, volvo cars. There is bound to be at least one 245, 749, 945, 965, that has a picture of the third seat.

Any other route to a pic is likely to take a little longer.

At one time I offered to sell my unwanted 965 3rd seat, but it seemes a daunting job. Easy when I did a 245 swap.

If she gets a seat, work hard to get the Volvo instructions.
