What do we think of 1998 V70s compared to 240s?

This is a good comparison - thank you!
Sounds like some things I'd like/some I would not (lower seats). I

I might take a peek at the salvage car - I know someone who got a branded title car for $500 bucks, and that thing is in way better shape than my Volvo (it's a Mitsubishi). It feels like a tin can when I'm in it, but still - a very nice tin can. With working a/c, which is more than I have.

Good to know the price is high. Ideally I'd go private party with a fellow Volvo lover who'd like to see their well-maintained car go to a good home.

The cool thing is I've been fixing up the 240 lately which has been really unexpectedly fun. Just little cosmetic things, but it feels less shabby now. Hopefully I won't need a new car for a long time but just in case I want to have a plan. Thanks!
