What do we think of 1998 V70s compared to 240s?

Hi all,

I'm casually looking at newer vehicles for if/when the time comes I need to send my 245 wagon to Volvo Heaven (hopefully not soon).

Curious what you guys think about V70s: here's an ad for one I saw that looked great, having no details beyond what's in the ad yet. Price seemed reasonable as well:

I don't know anything about Volvos beyond the 240 era so I don't even know if the newer ones are worth it when compared to other newer cars. To me, "newer" is anything newer than 88, so even a 93 345 in great shape would be an awesome upgrade for me.

Anyway, just curious what you guys think of that make/year or anything related to the acquisition of a newer ride. This one looks really nice but I have no idea how these compare to 240s - probably negatively!) Would love to learn more.

Thx!
Susan
