My 97850R is having some AC trouble. Yesturday I went to recharge the Ac and found that the right vents were blowing hot air and the left vents were blowing normal/cooler air. My ECC lights blink for 20 seconds. The dealer ran for codes and a Vent Fault Code came up. That's all the information I was given. I heard that this means that a damper motor is bad. Where the heck are those and would this cause my AC not to work.

Another thing. On my way to work today I was getting cold air out of all the vents. That only lasted for about 5 minutes. Is this the infamous AC clutch problem? How do I fix this clutch? Are there any visuals and is it a lengthy process?

I am going to clean my temp vents by the grab handles but I dont think that would cause the AC not to work if its set on the manual settings.

Note: If i set it to auto i get warm air out of the right vents.

I would really appreciate some help. It's in the hight 90s here and i have a 4 hour drive to make tomorrow. Thanks :)
