engine overheating 850

Could be your thermostat. Is the radiator hose getting hot along with the engine? If not then the thermostat isn't opening. You may also have a bad coolant resevoir cap. I believe I've read where these are supposed to have a relief valve. They shouldn't get to a point where any pressure can cause them to crack. Or maybe the crack is not allowing proper pressure to build up in the system?
