hi steve,

thanks for replying. the reason i wanted to charge the system and disengage the compressor is only to make sure there are not rusts developing later because of moisture entering etc. and yeah, the compressor clutch is in a mechanically bad shape and needs replacement. but then, its not in my top priority right now and so would want to wait and also make sure no rusts develop.

let me know if i am doing the right thing. many thanks.
