Hi. I have a 1999 V70XC with 118,500 miles on it. I'm currently getting a CEL light with a code of P1171, as well as having stalling problems almost every time I come to a complete stop. When I let my foot off the accelerator, I hear a noise similar to water rushing through pipes in an old house, which make me think I may have a vaccum leak somewhere. The majority of the posts I'm seeing suggest that the culprit is usually the MAF. Although I've only owned the car for 1200 miles, I have the service history from the previous owner's dealership, which indicates that the MAF sensor was replaced at 92,700. I replaced the ETS module about 200 miles before this problem occurred. Does anyone have suggestions as to where I might want to look? My fiance (a Jeep girl) is to the point of tears with frustration over our "new" car... :(
