A dealer will require total replacement. Small electrical shops may or may not open the motor and rebuild it - for a small fee. Water better not be getting into your fan. It will coat the fins with dust unless you have a cabin filter and change it once in a while.
If you oiled the bearings, run the fan at high speed for about one hour to help the oil do its job. Just like a home ceiling fan which is only ever run at low speed, it will start to make noises.
The only fan I ever took apart completely was from my extinct 780. It no longer made screeching noises when I got it to turn freely and the blades were washed with soap and water!
