Re: your clock/trip computer: it's a light bulb in the back of the instrument cluster. The bulb is something like 8 bucks at the Volvo dealer.

I replaced mine using the directions from Bay 13 and it was easy. Check it out here:

I had a zillion burned out bulbs as it turned out, so you might want to see if anything else is burned out if you're going to go to the trouble of taking out the cluster.

And for whatever it's worth, I'd replace the O2 sensor.
