bevel gear oil leak??? V70-XC70 2000

This car has been one leaky SOB.!!! 75k and this time the repair wont be under warrentee. I have just about stopped the turbo hose leak.. just tighten that sucker up! but it appears to be leaking from the passenger side seal..Near that toothed area. Should I attempt to fix this myself?
