Keep me posted onthis one if you would please. Sounds awefully familiar to my 1996 850 GLT. My evaporator is new and my cabin sensors are new. I have plenty of charge, because when it does work, you could hang meat in my car. Mine cuts out and then I have to let it sit for a while before restarting. Sometimes it gets so hot in there I might as well just open up the windows and forget about the A/C. Hope it is not my Compressor.
When you shorted the circuit on the test you did, what does that mean? I will try the same thing if I can figure out what this means. Is the wire youpulled on the firewall for my 1996?
