You need special equipment to reset the system. They will do a diagnostic check on all parts of the system and reset. It cost me was about $70 dollars for a independent Volvo certified mechanic and he stated that if the light is on, your system is not functional. The diagnostic equipment was stated to cost big $$$$$$'s.
