Well, if the engine is hot your going to see something, there's a lot of hot oil sloshing around in there. How much is to much is hard to say, all I've ever seen (as far as 850's go) is my car, so I know what's normal for it. I tend to see a little vapor escaping from the dipstick tube if I pull it while the car is running, but it's not much. I'd say that if the pressure isn't enough to push the dipstick out of the tube on it's own then it's fine.
