hi Ben,
no i must admit that despite seeing adverts for aftermarket software that ive never personally seen or heard of a local vehicle having aftermarket software in it. however i dont read this to mean it doesnt exist as there are so many good tuning websites offering this service they cant all be making it up,also why would volvo themselves be so worried if it couldnt be done? and lastly where computers are concerned ANYTHING is possible, i mean if the programmers who worked for companies such as volvo can design the software in the first place them i guess other programmers can do the same.
lets face it vadis is used to retrieve the software from vital then download it from vadis to the car,but the vadis cart itself doesnt actually do anything that a normal pc couldnt be made to do.
