Harbor Freight sells an affordable set of bent nose pliers. Made in China, of course, but adequate for infrequent use. They sell by mail, phone, and web. Unfortunately, they also have walkin stores, one of which is very near my work. I've given them a lot of my money for tools I need but use only rarely. Not Proto quality, but usually about 1/2 to 2/3 cheaper than Proto. And actually, their impact sockets are pretty good.

Just a thought.
