You have to read the exact Warranty wording very carefully. If like Ford's warranty (hopefully not), only the original factory-installed components are warranted for the full term. I had a MAF module fail at 1200 miles in an '03 Ford. It was replaced by a dealer with a remanufactured unit that had only a 90 day warranty. When the remanufactured unit failed 6 months later (at 3200 miles), I had to pay for the next one myself. I bought an aftermarket MAF for less than half of the Ford price, with a 1 year warranty.
I've had a similar experience with GM (Pontiac). Only the original parts were warranted, even when they were not functioning properly when the car was delivered.
Nissan, in contrast, will change replacement parts for free during the full warranty period.
