Service....... S80 1999

It's the "service" light. It lights up, and then stays on about two or three minutes into driving then goes out. The "check engine" light also illuminates, but I think that's due to the gas cap being left loose by the pump jockey at my last pit stop for fuel. It goes out after a day or two of driving and doesn't appear to hinder performance or anything.
I heard one tme about the procedure for reseting the service light, something about pressing this and holding that till something blinked or whatever. AT that time the light was on steady.....but when I tried it was a no-go.
