is it the 'check engine' light or the 'service' light?

if its the service light then it's only a reminder at every 7500 miles to replace the oil and there is a quick procedure to reset it.

if it is the check engine light, then there would be a message in the display at the left and a code reader could be used to check for fault codes from the OBDII connector.
