My Alarm Doesn't Like Where I Live!? - 2000 V70/XC

I posted a variation of this message and got a couple of thoughtful responses, but I now have a little more specific info and decided to post again. Just bought a 2000 V70/XC with about 60K on the dial.

I'm experiencing rather bizarre behavior in that the alarm goes off for no apparent reason. The bizarre part is that it ONLY seems to happen at our house. I've been out and about, always locking the doors and setting the alarm and from what I can tell it has never gone off anywhere else!? Has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible that someone else's alarm or electrical device setting it off? Can the dealer re-code the alarm and my remotes? And how much lighter can I expect my wallet to be for the service?
