My 96 850t has 35k on it. I have owned it for 10k. At about 27k, my wife 2-3 times slammed on the brakes, and we noticed the car stalled, with no fire of any kind left--no check lights, no headlights, no dash lights, you get the picture. However, after a 10 or 30 second interval, fire returned and the car started and went on fine.

At about 30k, had two or three incidents.

Now, two days ago, stalled about 5 times, each time, no fire--no dash lights, no check engine lights, no turn signals, and terrifyingly, no hazards.

This eve, same thing, couldn't get fire to return, had to have towed.

Suggestions will be greatly appreciated before the ravenous mechanics begin carving up my wallet.
