Thanks Swed,
You seem to know then well, so let me ask you.
I have a 803 high end stereo system.
The battery is in the rear, no sweat getting good juice for the amp. The REM is righ there too, should get "turn-on" easily.
So for the signal, the rear speakers only reproduce high frequencies. Are they amplified and is the sound filtered through a simple cap on the speaker itself or the signal going to the speaker is already filtered with a crossed-over? If so, then using this signal for the sub would be useless unless a cap at the speaker is used. I know the OEM amp is under the passenger front seat. I could get low level audio signal from there. The DIN connector you are talking about is found where, behind the radio itself?
I'm just trying to save myself useless interior panel disassembly time. If I can get full frequency audio signal from the rear speakers, its a done deal in a short time. I can always test them first but if you know it already...I would appreciate.
regards,
JF
