Software Upgrade for '98 T5...due to rough idling S70

The software update for 98 was for the GLT's only (low pressure turbo).
It waws known as the "Skip and Dip" problem. Search on "skip and dip"
(below) to get details.

I have a 98 T5M and have not heard of any updates. The technical service
bulletins at www.alldatadiy.com also don't list any. I'd say the
dealer was being square with you.
