What's faster a non-turbo 5 speed or a turbo automatic? 850

Yeah the automatic turbo is noticeably quicker then the na five speed. I've driven tons of volvos and there's no comparison between the 850 auto turbo and the 240 intercooled auto. In fact, the automatic really hampers the 240 series turbo to a VERY noticeable difference. This does not seem to be the case with the 850 series. I do not know why. Maybe the aw71 just sucked too much power in the 240 but the 240 WAS quick with the m46. A 240 intercooled with an automatic is plain old stupid in my book - the thing's a slug. Gotta have the m46 in order to FEEL like the car is worthy of the turbo engine. But not to stray too far, I know for a fact that the 850 turbo automatic will blow the doors off the non-turbo 850 five speed. I recommend the automatic turbo in the 850 and the m46 manual in the 240 turbo.
