thinking about another make of car 850 1996

I would have bought an Audi A4, except my '94 855 was far less money and actually is more fun to drive! The engine sound far surpasses the 2.8 V6 or the 1.8t, and it's got a lot of room for my work. On the other hand the A4 is one of the best looking cars ever. I still like the 850 design a lot though.

I did intensive research. My opinion would be, if you can afford it, buy a '99 1.8t A4 Avant. '99 seems to be a sweet spot in VWAG reliability.

BMW and Mercedes and especially Saab are far worse in repairs than Volvo. Knock on wood, my 850 has been perfect.
