Differences between 850R and T-5 850 1995

1995/1996:
850 Turbo, 2.3L engine, mitsubishi turbocharger TD04HL-15G (222 hp, 221 lb-ft, 9.6 psi)
1997:
850 Turbo renamed 850 T5

1996/1997:
850 R, 2.3L engine, mitsubishi turbocharger TD04HL-15G (237 hp in the manual, 240 hp in the press, 221 lb-ft, 10.9 psi, not limited anymore, similar to t5-r except no yellow; euro-spec 850 R manuals had a mitsubishi turbocharger TD04HL-16T as well as a limited slip differential)

1996 854 20 mm front, 19.5 mm rear
---- optional sports package 21 mm front, 20 mm rear, extra firm shock absorbers
1996 854 r 21 mm front, 20 mm rear
1996 855 20 mm front, none rear
1996 855 r 21 mm front, 20.8 mm rear
1997 850 20 mm front, 19.5 mm rear (including r)


brakes are the same...however, later some v70r models and most c70 models (and some police packaged cars) had a 302mm front brake (same caliper) compared to 280 mm rotor...these require later 16" rims to clear. there was also, a big brake kit offered by volvo that is around 320 mm front.
