AC compressor - to change or not? 850 1996

I'll tell you what the tech at Volvo told me. (In reference to the type with a superheat switch. My car does not have one, so I haven't tried it.) He said you "Just unplug it and plug the wires together. It's almost as if it was designed to be eliminated."

So it sounds like there is a male & female connector on the superheat switch and on the wiring harness. Just unplug the connections and plug the wiring harness connectors together.
